Game4Padel at Withdean Sports Complex is on Tongdean Lane, Brighton. It has three covered padel courts under a canopy, with an artificial grass surface. The courts are floodlit for the evening, and the canopy lets play carry on all year. Game4Padel built and runs them with the council and Freedom Leisure, and they opened by 13 April 2026.

The courts have a staffed padel reception where you can hire rackets and buy balls. The complex also has 3G football pitches, squash, tennis, a gym, soft play, a climbing wall and an athletics track. The venue doesn't say whether there are showers, changing rooms or a cafe.

Anyone. The courts are open to all, and Game4Padel members get lower prices and a longer booking window. The booking page lists an Introduction to Padel session and beginner group lessons. Player-led Monday Mix In sessions and a Social Mix in for New Players run for people who want to meet others.

You book on MATCHi: pick a date, start time and court, then confirm and pay. Members can book 10 days ahead and non-members 7 days ahead.

Prices are per player. The venue doesn't publish a price per court, and it doesn't say how long a booking lasts, so the per-player figures below can't be set against an hourly rate.

Game4Padel membership is from £6.50 a month, or £13 a month for a family membership of at least two people at one address. A member gets £2 off per hour in a booking. Group sessions on the booking page: Introduction to Padel (1 hour) £16 per person, Improver group lesson (1 hour) £18 non-member and £16 member, and Monday Mix In (90 minute slot) £14 non-member and £13 member.

2. Join the A23 London Road, then take Tongdean Lane. Buses 025, 17, 272, 273, 5 and 5A pass close by.
3. Register your vehicle at reception. Parking is free for up to 3 hours, and there is EV charging.
4. Hire a racket at reception and buy balls there.
