Editorial policy and corrections
What we publish, how we check it and what happens when we are wrong.
What we publish
Facts about padel venues that we can tie to a page the venue controls (its website or booking platform) or to an official source such as a council or the LTA. Every fact has a quote, a link and a date behind it. If we cannot prove it, we leave it out and say so.
Independence
No venue pays to be listed, ranked or described. There is no advertising. Nothing is marked up as a review or rating: we have no first-party reviews, and we do not copy other sites' ratings.
How we check
Research software reads venue pages and booking platforms and proposes facts. Code then checks that each quote appears in a saved copy of the page and that every number on a venue page exists in that venue's record. A human edits the result. Calculated prices are labelled "worked out"; see the methodology.
Corrections
Email hello@padelcourtguide.co.uk with the page and what you saw. We aim to reply within two working days. A confirmed error is fixed on the page and the checked date on the row changes, so you can see the correction landed. We keep a short public note of closures and changes on the hub page.
Venues that open, move or close
A venue that is not yet open is listed as planned, with the evidence, and gets no page. A closed venue's page stays for 90 days, marked as closed and hidden from search, then redirects.
