About West Worthing Club (padel)
what it's like
West Worthing Club is on Titnore Way, Worthing. It is about 35 minutes' drive from central Brighton (our estimate). It has two padel courts with an artificial grass surface, opened in October 2023. The courts are floodlit, with LED lighting shown on the booking system.
The club calls the courts covered. ClubSpark's booking grid lists them as outdoor. We can't tell which is right, so check with the club before relying on a roof. The clubhouse has changing rooms, a lounge, a bar and a cafe, and the Proshop sells racquets and balls. The club also offers tennis, squash and racketball.
who it's for
The club is members-priority, and non-members can still play pay and play. Racquets members get a preferential booking window, discounted court fees, free social sessions and discounted coaching. The club runs group courses for beginners and improvers and small group lessons with club coaches. Social padel sessions and internal leagues are for members only. A junior padel programme is not yet running.
booking and prices
Non-members book court hire online through the club's ClubSpark page: you register and pay the court fee online. Court hire is £22 per half hour for pay and play non-members, shown against each court slot. Only some slots are released to non-members, and the club doesn't publish a booking window.
The club doesn't publish a members' court price, a racket hire price or a cancellation policy. Racquets can be hired from reception for a small charge, and balls are for sale in the Proshop. The membership price isn't published either.
