Smash Padel Mid Sussex, Haywards Heath

what it's like

Smash Padel Mid Sussex is at Whitemans Green, Haywards Heath, beside Haywards Heath Rugby Club. It is about 30 minutes' drive from central Brighton (our estimate). It has three panoramic courts under canopy covers: two doubles courts and one set up for singles. Smash Padel runs it in partnership with the rugby club.

There is a cafe and bar on site, open 8am to 10pm. The venue doesn't say what the surface is, or whether the courts are floodlit. It also doesn't give details on parking, changing rooms or showers.

who it's for

Anyone. It is pay and play and no membership is required. New players get a free one-hour intro with a coach, 45 minutes on court and 15 minutes to talk about next steps, with rackets provided. After that there is a six-week beginner course, Padel Xpress. The venue also runs in-house coaching, junior coaching and private coaching, plus regular social events, public matches and coaching socials.

Community Membership is free for students, pensioners and blue-light workers and gives 20% off off-peak court fees. Access Membership, open to everyone, gives a 14-day booking privilege.

booking and prices

The venue doesn't publish a court price. Everything, including courts, matches and coaching, is booked through the Nettla app, so the price shows there. The how-to-book page on the Smash Padel site explains the steps. You can also email mid-sussex@smashpadel.co or phone 07542 608563.

Racket hire is £3 per hour, and rackets are also for sale. The venue doesn't give a ball price.

Cancellation, for court bookings from 6 October 2026: a full refund with more than 48 hours' notice, a 50% refund at 24 to 48 hours, and no refund under 24 hours.
