Quick answer. In Brighton & Hove, the two public padel venues price per player, not per court. Hove Beach Park is £7 per player per hour for a non-member on weekdays from 8am to 5pm and £8 at other times. Withdean is £10 and £12 per player for a non-member, and the venue doesn't say how long a booking lasts. Venues further out mostly quote a price per court. Checked 4 November 2026.
Per player or per court
Some venues quote a price per player and some a price for the whole court. The two are not the same number, so compare them with care. Padel is mainly played as doubles, two players against two (see our rules of padel), so a court is usually shared by four people.
A per-player price is what one person pays. A per-court price is what the booking costs, and the players split it. Housedean states both for the same booking: £40 for the court for 60 minutes, and £10 per player for four sharing. Where a venue gives only one of the two, we don't work out the other here. The full price index shows the per-court and per-player hourly figures the site works out, labelled as such.
Also check the booking length. Hove Beach Park states per player per hour. Withdean doesn't state a length, so its per-player prices can't be set against an hourly rate. West Worthing quotes per half hour.
Court prices by venue
Prices are for non-members unless a row says otherwise. "Booking page" prices are what the venue's booking page showed for one date and time, not a rate card. They change.
